The People’s Temple is a benevolent religion created by a Minrothaddan immigrant by the name Tomia. The People’s Temple is the most followed religion in the Ierendi islands. You can find temples scattered throughout the islands, but given that the ceremonies are held in the open, many communities don’t have at their disposal specific buildings to be used as sanctuaries but only sacred ceremonial areas, and the priests often live in common houses like the rest of the population. The Temple is a very informal religion, whose rituals varies from community to community and often depends on the priests, who are treated by the faithful more like friends or kin than like referential figures or great devotion.
People’s Temple, is an informal religion that worships no specific Immortal, though its clerics do receive spells. Its precepts are based on the Hope Stones, three pieces of stone that were inscribed by its founder. The original stones are believed to have long since been destroyed.
The clerics of the People’s Temple had in their archives records of different moments on the history of Ierendi were individuals and groups have claimed to have possession of the Hope Stones, King Mad Greeg was one who was credited with that but their records show that he didn’t had them.
