Shan Hou-Yan is an Elder of the Huo Pai Demon Cults (School of Fire), Shan Hou-Yan descends from an ancient Cypri bloodline, which had a more recent brush with outer planar entities, resulting in the status of Fire Spirit Folk of its modern descendants. Hou-Yan is extremely proud of his Fire Spirit blood, and is a firm believer in Fire supremacy. Even though he is an elder member of the sect, he still likes to raid the villages of the Celestial Territories to “prove the superiority of Fire” – that is, to vent his anger at being confined into the wild Territories on some helpless villager. However, Hou-Yan is not just a bully – he is a dangerous warrior, mixing unarmed fighting, magic, and mastery of the twin daggers and three-section staff.
The mighty warrior Shan Hou-Yan has travelled to the Village of Lasimar and has lived there for six months helping the people and winning their trust. three months ago, a storm marked the arrival of the Tun Mi Lung (Typhoon Dragon) and that was what Sha Hou Yan was waiting for. He has been fighting the dragon each night for two weeks without any of them winning. The damage to the village has been high. Shan Hou-Yan has shapeshifted into the old man Hui Ash to confront the Tun Mi Lung.
During the events of Lasimar Epic Final Game, the Band of the Wolf fought bravely against Shan Hou-Yan combinations of fiery powers and monk abilities. He is well trained and a born leader who knows how to use his powers and followers to his advantage. He has his grandson Huy Otgon bound to serve him using Kitsune to call for Shan Hou-Yan’s wishes on his favor to destroy the Tun Mi Lung. He is able to do that, even casting a magical iron web around the dragon and making a meteor swarm rain from the sky over his opponents.
