But the title of Earl was acquired in accordance to a very important deed he did in relation to the Alphatian Empire when he was able to save the them Ambassador and gain a lucrative trade route for Ierendi. The Alphatian Ambassador gave him the “Alphatian Honorary Title” of Earl and requested that the Ierendi Tribunal did the same. The title of Earl can be given to someone who has no lands, but the important thing is that it has been more than a hundred years that no one in Ierendi had a noble title honored and certified by the government of Ierendi. The title was given and the Tribunal crossed their fingers and wait for a people’s upraise that never happened. Respen was too loved by the people. His father was Percival “The Sword” Respen, a respectable and honorable Captain of the Ierendi Royal Guard and a member of the Adventurers Club Headquarters with a floor named after him.

” In accordance with the judgement of the Tribunal, the Council of Adventurers, and the Monarch of Ierendi, and so attested by the oath of Respen-ak-Tarpis, Draconic Earl, Prince of Arentela, a challenge is issued.
Earl Respen has agreed to meet any team of six adventurers in a contest, governed by the rules of the Royal Tournament of Adventurers. If the Adventurers win, the Earl has agreed to withdraw from the Annual Tournament of Adventurers.
