Bargle the Infamous is a renown wizard gone rogue. From time to time he was enemy of different adventurer groups, he was defeated, but barely escaped with his life and returned later with a new plan to gain power. .
He set up a base in the Ruined Mansion just north of Alfheim Town. Since then, he gained power over the course of many years, until he was a powerful wizard rivaled only by the greatest. He made his home just within the Sacred Cave on the edge of the Broken Lands, and protected it and the Temple of the Sun from Shadow Elves and monsters (unknown to the clerics). His ambition led him to finding new exotic spells, and magical books and supplies of all kinds. He stole the Books of Fire, Ice, Illusion, and the Spider, along with other spells. He also stole nearly the entire treasury of the Republic of Darokin, causing the the government to set up a bounty and send people to get it back. He was seeking the Book of Darkness and the Book of Thorns. Bargle. The group that fought him that time suffered as he took out six out of the nine in the party before he was defeated, and disappeared.
From time to time he will visit the town of Threshold were he will search with his minions unknown treasures on the Old Caves. Heroes battle him in The Black Woods were he disguised his soldiers as trees. He almost killed Aleena Halaran but she was taken back to town by Fleetwood and resurrected. Each time he was in the area he appears to have a new scheme to gain a magical item or steal resources but he was also looking for something in the area. He even send his special forces to the Barony for a full year.
Bargle was the right hand of Baron Black Eagle AKA Ludwig von Hendriks before he was killed on the domain of Hagar (formerly known as Black Eagle Barony). Bargle was killed shortly after Baron Black Eagle by Abhorson and his group of Freedom Fighters known as Dusk and Dawn.
Bargle had a unit of Bugbears called the Bargles Bugbears.
