Maiavel roamed the city in search of a blacksmith that could sell him a Rapier that was better than the one he had:

“Apparently dwarves hate us as much as we hate them, or the other elves.” he thought, “You would think that two races that are used to dwelling underground would have more things in common. I could not have been more wrong… Everywhere I walk I get met with strange looks; dwarves looking down on me as if I was an animal that did not belong. I have to stay calm. More than once was I tempted to show them the edge of my rapier… I mean, we [ Shadow Elves ] were treated like animals when we were sent underground, then I come up here centuries later and see it with my own eyes." Maiavel walked past people looking back at them with the same disrespect he was receiving from them, thinking: “Maybe I should act like an animal!! Dwarves?? Looking down on ME? WE are the superior race!! They should show some respect! They sh..” Just before losing control, he stops in a corner to gather himself and calm down. “I guess we should have expected this sort of thing to happen when we walked away from the City of Lights. I’ll just try to do some business and leave; this is their home, I shouldn’t be picking fights here.”

After finding a blacksmith (which looked a bit wacky to be honest), Maiavel goes in trying to explain that he wants a Rapier that is better than his. He tried showing off that he can use it well, to try and impress the dwarf, but is instead rejected and yelled at by the blacksmith.
“That dwarf is out of his mind!! It is hard enough to mingle with dwarves that are sane, let alone talk to a crazy blacksmith that does not believe thunder exists. Maybe I could use that against him..”
Maiavel improvised a costume in order to look like a dwarf and tries the same store again, but in his act breaks the store’s shelf and has to leave again with the crazy dwarf yelling at him.
“That dwarf will undoubtedly receive a brick to his front window before we leave Highforge… I just can’t talk to him, I’ll tell someone else in the group to come talk to him before I gut him in his own store.”

“The adventurers are interested in following up in a rumor about a sealed mine with giant worms.”

Lean el file de Barkin Flintstone.

“They live and work at Dalen Mines but recently came to the city to report a sealed mine that opened after a small earthquake and giant worms are attacking people. A room for them was paid by Captain Frolina Dragonshield on The Iron-Axe until the investigation can be made on the claims.”
